Stoke Bruerne : the majestic tree

a tower of strength
the flow of the canalside
breathing easy now


The Grand Union Canal travels from London to Birmingham, and having once been a route for all sorts of cargos, including guns during the war it is now a holiday destination, a heritage location and a place where people live. I took 25 people there from the the Royal Photographic Society, along with help from my college Robert for a day of photography


In a haiku world a ginko is a walk through nature observing

and as I ginko I make images of the things I notice

I then write a haiku in a moment as a response the images I make, that makes me stop to think

Finally I blog here about what the image and haiku make me think about
