Lacock Abbey
Photograph taken May 5th 2022
Can a photographer ever be alone?
Sitting peeling an orange nobody notices the old man with the stick and the camera
and those who share the air wander on
appearing to not notice they have been frozen in pixels
and will live forever.
Many refer to Lacock Abbey as the birthplace of photography
It is where Fox Talbot made his discovery
The Abbey is maintained by the National Trust now for us all
I visited for the first time on May 5th
I was enroute for The Royal Photographic Society in Bristol to assess members images
Be creative in your own way
