150-word text<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I set out today in search of a dock, drawn by the idea of water near a place that feels so far from the sea. The sat nav had other plans, leading us instead into the quiet village of Flixborough. It was only when we followed a footpath that the landscape began to reveal itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mineral Railway- a line once built for industry now softened by time. Stones still lie where trains once passed, sleepers remain\u2014weathered, holding memory without rails. I walked slowly here, aware that each step followed a path laid for a different purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then the tunnel appeared, pulling me forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside, the light faded, replaced by something more uncertain. Yet there were signs of life\u2014a small fire, a trace of presence. Someone else had passed through, perhaps seeking the same shelter, the same pause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The landscape shifts again. Not abandoned\u2014just re-invented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
