Although I never managed to get my hands on a Vitesse, I always dreamed of owning one. One of my favorite Heralds was a convertible, and I loved nothing more than cruising around with the hood down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even on rainy days, I would take the hood down because I found that when I was cruising at speed, the rain would go over my head and I would stay dry. However, traffic lights could be a problem when they turned red, and I found myself getting soaked in the rain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During this time, I was working as a press photographer for a local newspaper, and I would often have to rush from one job to the next. I loved the feeling of driving around in my Triumph, feeling the wind in my hair and the sun on my face. It was a simpler time, and I felt like I was living life to the fullest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Looking back on those days, I realize how lucky I was to have owned such a beautiful car and to have had such a fulfilling job.
