I like to keep photography practice constantly evolving and I am always seeking new ways to approach my craft. Recently, I had the opportunity to visit the North Norfolk coast, specifically Happisburgh and Sea Palling, with the intention of experimenting with new techniques and methods of producing photography.<\/p>\n\n\n

During my time there, I was reminded of the impact of nature on our environment, as I witnessed firsthand the effects of land erosion caused by the sea. These experiences, along with conversations with fellow photographers, Dave and Joan Jordan, led me to create a series of images that reflect my personal response to this beautiful yet fragile coastline.<\/p>\n\n\n

As I reviewed my photographs, I was inspired to create a photobook zine, which I am calling ‘The Tides of Happisburgh and Sea Palling. The book showcases the raw beauty of the North Norfolk coast, while also capturing the essence of my personal experience there. Through this zine, I hope to share my perspective and encourage others to appreciate the natural world and consider their role in preserving it.<\/p>\n\n\n

Ultimately, my goal as an artist is to use my photography as a means of storytelling and to inspire others to connect with the world around them. I believe that through this connection, we can better understand and appreciate the value of nature and work together to protect it for future generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
