Daily Ginko Photo and Haiku: The Roots of Nature

I took this image a few days ago (February  21 2022), when I escaped my desk
to drive to Doncaster to look at some motorhomes.
This scene is between Caistor and Brigg, and I stopped to photograph the scene behind me, which was a view over the valley that the road from Caistor overlooks. I noticed how the trees in the distance seemed to over look the hedge row, like its masters. I imagine the trees had no choice where they grew, and whilst we know that the roots of the tree spill out from its base, they will not affect the hedge, although they may benefit the hedge by allowing water to flow down to the roots of the hedge, I think we can learn a lot from the roots of nature.

This morning I read an article published on ‘the conversation’, which refers to how what we do today to our world can have an infleunce on what nature grows for many years to follow. The article is titled Climate change: effect on forests could last millennia, ancient ruins suggest ……click on the title to go to the article
